Checking Market Data on "Futures Analyst" through the "Formula" Trading System
Below you will see the market data table for TOCOM gold. By looking at this we can check current prices, see the highs and lows for the day for all contracts, see the volume traded and price compared with the days previous close. Let's look closely at the market data for the February 2010 contract at the far right of the data table and written in bigger font below. All prices are in yen and per gram. Generally speaking the far out contract is the most liquid on Japanese commodity markets where as the spot month or nearby month is normally illiquid.
